Important

Last updated November 7, 2024.

Work Planner Autosave

End of Life: April 28, 2023

On April 28th, all OnePlan environments will have the autosave feature turned off, and instead will need to use the manual save button to retain changes to their work planner.

Note

It is no longer possible to have your OnePlan administrator change your settings and reactivate autosave. We now require using the save button as it improves work planner performance and enables new features like auditing.

Portfolio Editable Gantt

End of Life: April 28, 2023

On April 28th, the Portfolio Gantt chart will no longer be editable and will become a read only visual. Previously users could move projects in the Gantt and run what-if scenarios by rescheduling projects in the portfolio. Now the Gantt will be read only. The editable Gantt functionality has been moved to the Portfolio Modeler module.

Portfolio Targets

End of Life: April 28, 2023

On April 28th, the portfolio financial plan target feature will no longer be available. Previously users could open the financial planner in the portfolio area and set financial targets to create different what-if scenarios. Portfolio financial targeting will be moved to the Portfolio Modeler module.

Portfolio Save Scenario

End of Life: April 28, 2023

On April 28th, the save scenario function will be removed from the Portfolio area. Previously, users could save various what-if scenarios created in the Portfolio area including different prioritization, financial targets, and so on. The save scenario function will be moved to the Portfolio Modeler module.

Scheduler Module

End of support: April 25, 2023

End of life: July 7, 2023

On September 8th, 2023, the Scheduler module will be removed from the Work Plan. Previously, users could use the Scheduler view to see work by resources. Similar functionality has been moved to the "Resources" option within the work plan contextual menu (the hamburger menu on the top right side).  You can view the resource load without leaving the Work Plan by using the "Show Resource Usage" or "Show Resource Plan" options.

Work Plan Resource Usage

End of life: May 3, 2024

On May 3, 2024, the Resource Usage view will be removed from the Work Plan. Previously, users could use the Resource Usage view to resource utilization in their plan. Similar functionality is available in the "Resources" option within the work plan contextual menu (the hamburger menu on the top right side).  You can view the resource load without leaving the Work Plan by using the "Show Resource Plan" option.

SharePoint Integration Site Creation

End of life: December 6, 2024

On December 6, 2024 the ability to create new SharePoint sites for plans via the SharePoint integration will be removed. Previously, users could use the SharePoint integration to generate new SharePoint sites for new plans created in their OnePlan group. Microsoft’s deprecation of app authentication means SharePoint site creation will no longer be possible. Existing users can still use this method for now, but new users are encouraged to switch to the Teams integration for future plans. We plan to add the ability to connect to existing SharePoint sites (versus creating them) soon.
