How to Use OnePlan with Aha!
This integration focuses on synchronizing data between OnePlan and Aha!. Initiatives and Workspaces in Aha can be imported into OnePlan as plan level items, whereas Epics and Features can be brought into OnePlans’ Work Plan – Backlogs section as items.
Integration Setup
OnePlan
To complete the OnePlan setup, you need to be an admin (user with Owner permissions) in OnePlan.
- Log into your OnePlan group using your Office365 account.
- Open the Admin pages by clicking on the Settings (gear) icon.
- Select Integration on the Admin Navigation panel.
- Click the + (plus) icon in the Authentication Keys section.
- Save the OnePlan Group Name and the Authentication Key somewhere safe, as this will give any program access to your OnePlan group. The key will no longer be viewable once the page refreshes or you navigate elsewhere.
OneConnect
To complete the OneConnect setup, you need to be an Administrator or Editor in the OneConnect group you wish to set the integration up in.
- Go to https://my.oneconnect.ai
- Navigate to Aha! to OnePlan Click the Configure button.
OnePlan Section
- Group Name: Enter the OnePlan Group name you will be integrating into.

Authentication Key: Enter the OnePlan Authentication Key generated from OnePlan.
- Expand Additional Options.
- (Optional) Alternate OnePlan Environment URL: If using an alternative environment than https://my.oneplan.ai, please enter the appropriate URL here.
Note
Options currently are: https://ca.oneplan.ai, https://eu.oneplan.ai, https://my.oneplan.ai, https://us.oneplan.ai, https://au.oneplan.ai, https://oneplanqa.azurewebsites.net.
- (Optional) OnePlan Default Plan Type: This is to be used in replace of the Portfolio Plan Type field mapping, should one not be provided automatically within the integration. This is to provide a default plan type for any plan level work items that are brought into OnePlan. A single value should be entered.
- Click Test to ensure that the connection settings to OnePlan are correct. A small notification of Connected Successfully should appear towards the top right of the page.
- Click Save.
Aha! Section
- Expand the Additional Options area to see all the necessary fields to be filled in.
- Aha! URL: Enter the Aha! URL (e.g., https://{organization}.aha.io).

Aha! API Key: Enter the key to the organization that will be integrating into OnePlan. A single value should be entered.
- Aha! Plan Entity Type(s) (Comma Separated): Enter the type(s) of Aha! entities you would like to be brought in as Plans in OnePlan. (Workspaces and Initiatives are the only supported entities for Plans

Aha! Backlog Entity Type(s) (Comma Separated): Enter the type(s) of Aha! entities you would like to be brought in as backlog level items in OnePlan.
Note
The only support Entity types are: Workspaces, Initiatives, Epics, and Features.
- Aha! Feature Template (Key): Enter the key to a Feature in Aha!
- Aha! Epic Template (Key): Enter the key to a Feature in Aha!
- Aha! Workspace Template (Key): Enter the key to a Feature in Aha!
- Aha! Initiative Template (Key): Enter the key to a Feature in Aha!
Note
All Template Keys will be used as their respective entity templates. If no Template Key is entered, no fields can be mapped.
Note
OnePlan Recommends creating separate items of each entity that is to be brought into OnePlan in Aha to use as your template keys.

OnePlanUpdate: Publish data from Aha! to OnePlan.
Note
At this time only full syncs are available.
Generate an Aha! API Key
- Log into Aha!.
- Go to Settings (gear icon in top right) > Personal.
- Click Developer (Left Column).
- Click Generate API key.
- Give the API key a Name.
- Click Generate API key in the pop-up window.
Locate Aha! Entity Keys
Features and Epics
- Click on a feature/epic to open its details.
- At the top next to the title of feature/epic is the key.
- The key can also be found in the board view above the name of the feature/epic.
Initiatives
- Click on an Initiative.
- At the top above the name of the initiative is the key.
Workspace
- Click on Setting > Personal.
- Click on Workspaces.
- To the left of the name of your workspaces in parentheses is the key.
