Financial Planner Hidden Rows

  • Updated

This article explains how to use the Hide Rows feature of the OnePlan Financial Planner.

As you are working on your financial plan, there may be financial data that is not relevant at the moment, but will need to come back to at a later date. You can hide cost category rows of your financial plan using the Hide Row feature of the Financial Planner. Hiding a row will temporarily remove that cost category and its data from the financial plan view. If a cost cateogry has detail rows or child plan-level cost categories, all child rows within the hierarchy are also hidden.

Hide a Row

Click the contextual menu (hamburger) for the cost category you want to hide, then select Hide Row. The cost category row and any child rows beneath it will be hidden, and the rollup values in the financial plan will update.

Show and Restore Hidden Rows

To show hidden rows in the financial plan:

  • Click the ellipsis in the toolbar > Show Hidden Categories. All hidden cost categories will display in the financial plan. These hidden rows will be grayed out.

Now that the hidden rows are shown, you can restore a row back into the financial plan. To restore a hidden row:

  • Click the contextual menu (hamburger) for the cost category you want to restore, then click Show Row. The cost category row and any child rows beneath it will be added back into the financial plan. The rollup values in the financial plan will update.
