Group-level Team FAQ

The following are common questions regarding the Group-level Team Creation function:

Does the integration create a new channel for each project?
No, the group-level setup does not create a channel for each project. However, you can use Power Automate to set up a custom solution that adds a channel in a group-level team site when a project is created.

If I select Auto Create, does it create a new channel under the group?
No, selecting Auto Create will create a new team site for a project. It will not be connected to the group-level setup.

If I click on the Team Icon on a project, does it take me to the group team or to a channel?
If you enable plan-level team site creation, it will either take you to a connected site or prompt you to create a new team site.

How is a plan in OnePlan connected to a channel in Teams?
If a group-level team site is created, it will include the OnePlan tab, which opens the OnePlan group within the tab.
