Configure Resource Plan Capacity Threshold Colors

This article explains how Administrators can define custom color thresholds to visualize resource utilization, enabling faster and more informed decisions aligned with organizational planning standards.

Note

Configuration takes place in the OnePlan front end. Navigate to the Global Resource Plan, or a Plan-level Resource Plan to customize. Customizations will apply at a global level to all Resource Plans.

Click on the ellipsis menu (...) and select Thresholds. The Capacity Threshold form will open. From this form, you can edit or remove the out-of-the-box thresholds, or create new thresholds.

Edit Thresholds

  1. Click on the color you would like to edit. This will open the settings for that threshold.

  2. From the form, you can update the Threshold Min., Threshold Max, and the Color that will apply to the Resource Plan grid for resources whos capacity falls within the threshold range.

  3. Once your customizations for the threshold are complete, click OK.

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each threshold you want to update.

  5. Then click Save to retain your changes.

Remove Thresholds

To remove a threshold, click the Delete icon Delete.png nest to the desired threshold. Click Yes on the confirmation pop-up to remove. Then click Save to retain your changes.

Add Thresholds

To create a new threshold range and color:

  1. Click the Add button. A blank threshold will append to the bottom of the list. Click Click to change. This will open the settings for that threshold.

  2. From the form, you can update the Threshold Min., Threshold Max, and the Color that will apply to the Resource Plan grid for resources whos capacity falls within the threshold range.

  3. Once your customizations for the threshold are complete, click OK.

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each threshold you want to create.

  5. Then click Save to retain your changes.

Reset Thresholds to System Default

To reset the thresholds to the system defaults, click the Reset button. Click Yes on the confirmation pop-up to reset. Then click Save to retain your changes.
