Highlighted column: Dependencies

What this column shows

The Dependencies column displays cross‑plan dependencies directly in the model List view. This allows you to see how work items are connected while evaluating scenarios.

Why this is important

Adding the Plan Dependencies column helps you:

  • See cross‑plan impacts
Understand which work is connected while comparing options.
  • Improve sequencing decisions
Identify what must happen first so you can build more realistic roadmaps.
  • Reduce downstream risk
Avoid committing scenarios that ignore critical dependencies.

When to use this column

Use the Dependencies column when you are:

  • Evaluating scenarios with sequencing or timing sensitivity
  • Reviewing roadmap feasibility
  • Comparing scenarios that include interdependent work

Tip: This column is especially useful when reviewing IN / OUT decisions during scenario analysis.
