Overview
The OnePlan Migration Tool facilitates the import of structured data from comma separated (CSV) files into OnePlan. It supports various OnePlan entities and is designed for one-time migrations, not ongoing integrations.
Supported OnePlan Modules
The following OnePlan entities are supported by the tool:
- Resources

-
Prepare CSV Files
- Create separate CSV files for each entity - Recommended format is CSV UTF-8.
- Use SharePoint or another secure location to store files. Review the authentication options.
- Ensure each file contains fewer than 50,000 rows to optimize performance.
-
Test in on a Test group
- Use a test OnePlan group to validate your configuration and data.
- Configure OnePlan and the Migration Tool to match your scenario.
-
Run Migration Tool
- Execute the tool on the test group.
- Review and validate the imported data.
- Adjust data and configuration as needed.
- Repeat until results meet expectations.
-
Production Migration
- Once validated, run the tool on the target production OnePlan group.
- Monitor the import and verify results.
Setup Requirements
Before setting up the integration, make sure:
- The necessary source file is created with the correct fields.
- The file is accessible (e.g., firewall rules, credentials, etc.) by the integration.
Source Data
The source data must be in a comma separated file (CSV UTF-8.).
Microsoft Excel and many other tools, including reporting solutions, support creating, updating, or exporting data to comma separated files.
Each integration has a sample template file available in the setup article at the bottom of the page.
