OnePlan Migration Tool - Execution

Pre-Execution Checklist

Before you run the migration the first time, please validate that you:

• Created/updated the necessary configuration in OnePlan.
• Created/updated the field mappings in OneConnect.
• Created separate CSV files for each entity you want to migrate based on the field rules and tips.

Execute the Required Strategies

Each type of data has a different strategy in OneConnect. Only run the strategy if you have data to migrate.

Please make sure you run the strategies in order as listed below and that you wait for one import to finish before you start the next one. 

It is also highly recommended that you verify the results of each import before you run the next one. 

The order of strategies, based on the dependencies: 

• Run the ImportResources strategy to import resources.
• Run the ImportPlans strategy to import plans.
• Run the ImportWorkPlans strategy to import work plans.
• Run the ImportResourcePlans strategy to import resource plans data.
• Run the ImportFinancialPlans strategy to import financial plans data.

Post Execution

Once you executed the strategies to import your data, you should: 

• Review and validate all the imported data.
• Adjust the data and configuration as needed.
• Remove the data from OnePlan that you want to import again.
• Re-run the strategy you need to import the data again.
• Repeat until the results meet expectations.
