What features / functions have been removed from OneConnect?

This article describes the various OneConnect features and functions that have been retired / removed from production.

End of support: January 31, 2026

End of life: January 31, 2026

Microsoft will not support the legacy (simple username and password) authentication option in SharePoint beyond January 31, 2026. Due to these platform changes, OneConnect will disable this type of authentication option as well. 

Going forward, the Service Principal based authentication will be the only supported option. Please review this article for more details on how to set this up.
