System fields are used in backend calculations. These fields can be used in a new field calculation as well. When creating a calculated field use the field backend name.
Example: [assignmentrevenue]-[assignmentcost]=Estimated Profit
System Backend Field Name |
OnePlan Field Name |
Description |
assignmentcost |
Estimated Cost |
assignmentcost multiplies the Effort Field (from the Work Plan Schedule) by the Cost Field (from the Resource Center, based on who is assigned to the item). How much will this project cost internally? |
assignmentrevenue |
Estimated Revenue |
assignmentrevenue multiplies the Effort Field (from the Work Plan Schedule) by the Rate Field (from the Resource Center or the Rate Table for each line item). How much could this project generate in revenue? |
actualrevenue |
Actual Revenue |
actualrevenue multiplies the Timesheet Hours by the Rate Field for each line item in your Work Plan. actualrevenue allows for more accurate revenue tracking while using multiple rate tables and rate escalations over time. This is particularly useful when managing professional services projects. How much actual revenue was made on this project? |
chargetype |
Chargeable Hours |
chargetype compares the TimesheetHours to the Charge TypeField. If the Charge Type field is set to Chargeable at the task level, it will add up those hours and show in this field. How many chargeable timesheet hours did we have on this project? |
