Add an External User to an Entra Tenant to Access OnePlan

This article explains how to add an external user to a MS Entra Tenant, to then access OnePlan.

Note

If you use this process to add external users to OnePlan, your OnePlan group authentication method needs to be set to Office365 Strict - it can not be multi-auth. See Enable OnePlan Multi-Authentication for more information.

1. Add the external user to the organization's Entra ID. This can be done by any of the following:

2. Add the external user as a resource in OnePlan. See Add Users to OnePlan

3. Send the external user a link to your organization's OnePlan tenant.

  • Go to your user profile > Share With. The Shared Url form will open.
  • Copy the Shareable Url and send it to the external user.
  • The user can use this url to access your OnePlan tenant.
