This article explains the main navigation icons and menus in OnePlan.
At the very top of OnePlan is the site header. This toolbar is persistent across OnePlan, and can always be accessed. The header contains several helpful resources for you to leverage.
Office 365 Apps : On the far left of the bar is a waffle icon. You can access other Office365 apps by clicking here.
Site Logo : Clicking the site logo will refresh OnePlan.
If you are a site Owner, you will find a pencil icon if you hover over the logo. This allows you to upload your own logo and to change the color of the site header to customize your site. See Customize OnePlan Site Branding for more information.
Global Search Bar : The search bar allows you to efficiently locate plans across your entire OnePlan site. UTo search for a plan, you can simply enter some of the plan’s name and hit enter on your keyboard. There is also a Plan Type filter to narrow results by type (e.g., projects, ideas). By hovering over a plan, you can access modules like Work Plan, Financial Plan, and more, or perform actions such as sharing and reorganizing the plan. See Search for Plans with the Global Search Bar for more information.
Group Menu : Further to the right is the Group menu. If you are part of multiple OnePlan groups, you can access them from this drop down.
Site Configuration : If you are a site owner, you will have access to the configuration settings icon. Clicking the gear will take you to the OnePlan back end where you can manage the site’s configuration.
Help Menu : Click on the question mark icon to access In-Line Help, Get Training, or submit a support ticket.
-
Clicking In-Line Help will open a contextual help panel with videos and documentation about the area you are currently in.
-
Clicking Get Training will redirect you to our knowledge base, where you can find a plethora of step-by-step articles on how to use OnePlan.
-
(Only available to Owners) Clicking Getting Started will launch the Setup Wizard. See Set Up Your OnePlan Trial Site for more information.
-
Clicking Support will redirect you to our support portal, where you can submit support tickets if you need assistance from the OnePlan team.
Notification Center : Click on the bell icon to review all your notifications.
-
A yellow dot will appear next to the Notifications icon when you have a new notification.
-
If you have more than one notification, the yellow dot will be labeled with the total number of unread notifications.
-
When you click the Notifications icon, any notifications you receive will be listed here. You will also receive an email with the notification.
User Preferences Menu: From this menu, you can access your account settings - which is particularly useful if you did not log in with a Microsoft account and instead created a separate OnePlan account. You can also manage your system notifications, get a share link for this OnePlan group, change the language for the site, or sign out of OnePlan.
On the left site of the screen is the Global Navigation Bar. Here you can access the Areas and Apps available in your OnePlan group.
You can expand the Global Navigation bar to see the names of each item, or keep it collapsed for a cleaner view.
What you see in the Global Navigation bar all depends on your permissions and group configuration. See OnePlan User Permissions and Configure and Manage Enterprise Security Groups for more information.
For example, if a user has Contributor permissions, they may be able to access:
-

In the bottom right corner of the screen is is OnePlan’s AI assistant, Sofia GPT.
Sofia uses advanced AI algorithms to understand natural language and respond in real-time, getting you the information you need in an instant. Sofia can automate tedious tasks like data entry, information retrieval, and can even automate communication with stakeholders.
The Sofia GPT module is particularly useful for OnePlan users because it can analyze data right from your OnePlan environment and provide a customized analysis that is relevant to you. That means Sofia GPT can provide accurate forecasting, optimize budgets and resources, identify risks and data anomalies. It’s like having a smart, efficient assistant that helps you focus on what really matters.
See all of our Sofia GPT documentation for more information on how Sofia GPT can help you.
