Localization in OnePlan

  • Updated

Purpose

This article explains how language localization works in OnePlan and how you can switch the application to your preferred language.

What you will accomplish
After reading this article, you will be able to change your OnePlan interface language, understand which parts of OnePlan are translated automatically, and use your browser to translate any remaining custom or user‑entered content.

Requirements

This feature is available to all OnePlan users.

Background

OnePlan now includes a new multi‑language framework that provides native French and Spanish language support. This means:

  • System text is translated: Menus, buttons, labels, messages, and feature names appear in French or Spanish.
  • Better onboarding: Users who prefer French or Spanish can navigate more easily, reducing confusion and training needs.

What is not translated

OnePlan no longer uses the built‑in Google Translate feature. Instead:

  • System content is translated by OnePlan.
  • Custom content, such as:
    • custom field names
    • user‑entered data
    • custom labels
      …is not translated automatically.

For these items, you may use your browser’s translation feature to translate text as needed.

Instructions

Translate the OnePlan User Interface:

  1. Click your avatar in the upper‑right corner of OnePlan.
  2. Select Change Language.

How to Translate Non‑Translated Content

For custom fields and user‑entered information, use your browser’s built‑in translation options:

Google Chrome

  1. Right‑click anywhere on the page.
  2. Select Translate to [Your Language].
  3. If needed, click the translation icon in the address bar to adjust language settings.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Look for the Translate icon in the address bar.
  2. Select your language and apply.
  3. If you don’t see the icon, right‑click the page and select Translate.

Mozilla Firefox

Firefox may require a translation add‑on:

  1. Open the menu and select Add-ons and Themes.
  2. Search for a translation extension (e.g., Firefox Translations).
  3. Install the extension and use it to translate your page.
