The Express Installer provides a simplified way to install integrations directly from OnePlan without first navigating to OneConnect. This streamlines the installation process while still creating and managing the integration within OneConnect. Please note that this is not the only way an integration can be made, for most integrations, navigating to the correct OneConnect environment is still considered best practice. The OneConnect environments are:

  • my.oneconnect.ai
  • eu.oneconnect.ai

When an integration is installed using the Express Installer, your OnePlan group is automatically linked to a OneConnect group. This relationship determines where integrations are created and managed.

Accessing the Express Installer

After your OnePlan group has been linked to a OneConnect group, you can access the Express Installer from two different locations.

Option 1: OnePlan Configuration

  1. Navigate to the OnePlan Configuration page, you must have Administrator permissions.
  2. Open the Integrations section.
  3. Select the + (Add Integration) button.
  4. The Express Installer opens and displays the available integrations.
  5. Select the integration you want to install.
  6. Follow the setup instructions for that integration.

Option 2: Connected Systems within a Plan

You can also install or connect integrations while viewing an individual plan.

  1. Open a plan.
  2. Select the Connected Systems button (plug icon) from the ribbon.

If no integrations are installed

The Express Installer opens automatically, allowing you to install your first integration.

If integrations already exist/are installed to your OnePlan Group

A list of existing integrations is displayed.

From this screen you can:

  • Connect the current plan to an existing integration by selecting the integration and choosing Next.
  • Install a new integration by selecting Add Integration.

After selecting an integration to install, follow the setup instructions for that specific connector.

Available Integrations

The integrations displayed in the Express Installer depend on your current environment and existing integrations.

For example:

  • Some integrations can only be installed once per OnePlan group.
  • Others support multiple installations and will continue to appear after an instance has already been created.

Because of this, the list of available integrations may differ between environments.

 

Limitations of the Express Installer

The Express Installer is designed to simplify installation, but it does not expose every configuration option available in OneConnect.

Not every integration is available

Only supported integrations are displayed in the Express Installer. Some integrations must still be created directly within OneConnect.

Limited connector configuration during installation

When creating an integration through the Express Installer, only the external system's connector settings are shown (for example, the Azure DevOps connector).

The OnePlan connector settings are configured automatically and are not displayed during installation.

In addition, only the following connector sections are available during setup:

  • General
  • Additional Options

The following connector sections are only available within OneConnect:

  • Advanced Options
  • Relay Settings

If you need to configure these settings, open the integration in OneConnect after installation.

Advanced configuration requires OneConnect

After an integration has been created, all ongoing administration is performed in OneConnect.

Examples include:

  • Modifying connector settings
  • Updating field mappings
  • Configuring item mappings
  • Editing strategies
  • Managing filters
  • Reviewing integration logs
  • Changing schedules
  • Updating authentication

Environment requirements

The Connected Systems experience is only available when the associated OneConnect environment matches your OnePlan environment.

If your OnePlan group is linked to a different OneConnect environment, the Express Installer functionality may not be available.

Today the Express Installer only works for my.oneplan.ai, and eu.oneplan.ai.
