July 27, 2026, OData Service Incident Update – API Connectivity Issues

  • Updated

Update - July 28, 2026 - 8:45 am PST

Service Restored

The issue affecting the OnePlan REST and OData APIs has been resolved, and API services are now operating normally.

Our investigation traced the issue to the database used for API logging, which contributed to elevated HTTP 500 errors and intermittent failures for reports and integrations connected to the OnePlan APIs.

Customers should now be able to refresh reports using the OData feed and rerun integration jobs using the OnePlan REST API. Please retry any previously failed report refreshes or integration jobs and contact OnePlan Support if you continue to experience issues.

We are continuing to monitor the environment closely and are working on a permanent solution to prevent this issue from recurring. We will provide an additional update once the permanent corrective actions have been implemented, along with a more detailed root cause analysis.

Incident Summary

On July 27, 2026, OnePlan experienced elevated HTTP 500 errors affecting requests to the OnePlan REST and OData APIs. This resulted in intermittent failures for reports connected to the OData feed and integrations using the OnePlan REST API.

Customer Impact

During the incident, customers may have experienced:

  • Reports connected to the OnePlan OData feed failing to refresh.
  • Integration jobs using the OnePlan REST API failing with HTTP 500 errors.
  • Intermittent connectivity or degraded performance when accessing API services.

Current Status

The immediate issue has been resolved, and the OnePlan REST and OData APIs should now be functioning normally.

Customers are encouraged to refresh affected reports and rerun any failed integration jobs. If issues continue, please contact OnePlan Support so our team can investigate further.

Root Cause

The issue was traced to the database used for API logging. Conditions within the logging database affected the performance and availability of the services supporting the OnePlan REST and OData APIs.

Our engineering team implemented mitigation steps to restore normal API operations.

Actions Underway

  • Closely monitoring API performance, response times, and error rates.
  • Reviewing API logging architecture and database performance.
  • Implementing permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Expanding monitoring, telemetry, and alerting for earlier detection.
  • Reviewing additional safeguards to reduce the impact of similar conditions.

We appreciate your patience while our teams worked to restore service. A further update will be provided once the permanent solution has been implemented, including a more detailed root cause analysis and summary of the corrective actions taken.
