What This Article Covers: Strategy Views
This article explains the four views in the Strategy area of OnePlan and when to use each one to review progress toward your Objectives and Key Results.
What you will accomplish: By the end of this article, you will be able to open each Strategy view and choose the one that answers your question about progress.
Before You Begin: Viewing Strategy Progress
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Access to Strategy in your left navigation.
- At least one Objective and Key Result. See How to Create an Objective in OnePlan and How to Create a Key Result in OnePlan if you need to create them.
Why This Matters: Strategy Views
Context: One Set of Data, Four Perspectives
The List, Board, Roadmap, and Dashboard views in Strategy present the same Objectives and Key Results in different ways. Use the view that matches the question you are asking, such as which Key Results are behind, when each Objective runs, or how many Objectives are off track.
Context: Progress Comes from the Metric
Progress in every view is based on the Current Metric field. For a Key Result, Current Metric is calculated from the Current Number and Target Number entered on the Key Result, so keep Current Number up to date to keep every view accurate.
