This article explains when and how to recall a submitted status report before it has been approved.

What you will accomplish
After reading this article, you will be able to recall a submitted status report and understand what happens once you do.

Before You Begin: Status Reports

Why This Matters: Status Reports

Once a status report is submitted, OnePlan locks it to preserve the integrity of what was sent for approval. If you realize you forgot to update something, Recall gives you a way to fix it before your approver reviews the report, instead of leaving inaccurate information in front of your approver or waiting for the next reporting cycle.

Step-by-Step: Recalling a Status Report in OnePlan

Task: Recall a Submitted Status Report

Select Recall on the status report.

The status report returns to an editable, pending state. Make any needed changes, then resubmit it — see How to Submit a Status Report in OnePlan.

Note: Recall Is Also Visible to Your Approver
Recall also appears on a submitted status report when viewed by the Approver, alongside Approve and Reject — see How to Approve or Reject a Status Report in OnePlan. An Approver could technically recall a report and update it themselves rather than rejecting it, but this is generally not recommended — Reject keeps the change with the report Owner and preserves a clear record of why the report needed revision.

Frequently Asked Questions: Status Reports

Q: Can I recall a status report after it's been approved?
A: No. In OnePlan, once an approver approves a status report, it becomes the official record for that reporting period and can no longer be recalled.

Q: What happens to my status report after I recall it?
A: In OnePlan, a recalled status report returns to an editable, pending state. It is not sent to your approver again until you select Submit.

Q: Does recalling a status report affect the live plan data I already changed?
A: No. In OnePlan, any plan data updated through the status report before recalling remains in place. Recalling only affects the status report's submission state, not the underlying plan fields.
