Task: Edit a Work Field

  1. Open the Work Type Form Editor for the field’s Work Type. See Work Fields - Access Work Fields Configuration.
  2. Locate the field in the Content panel’s Elements tab, then select the elipsis next to it. Click the Edit button. The Edit Field form opens. taskfieldedit.png
  3. Update the field settings as needed. You can modify:
    • Field name and description
    • Default value
    • Required and read-only settings
    • Work Type availability
    • Calculations (if configured)
    • Field-specific options (character limits, decimal places, choices, etc.)
  4. Select Save.

Note: The field type cannot be edited after a Work Field is created. If you need a different type, create a new field and delete the old one.
