The following articles introduce Plan Automations—automations that operate at the plan level in OnePlan.
Plan Automations allow you to automatically take action when something about a plan changes, such as when:
- A plan is created
- A plan field changes
- A process step changes
- A specific date is reached
These automations help enforce consistency, reduce manual effort, and support governance across plans.
When you would use Plan Automations
Use Plan Automations when you want to:
- Apply rules or actions across an entire plan
- Automate plan-level notifications or approvals
- Reorganize or create plans based on specific events
- Ensure consistent behavior without manual intervention
Plan Automations are typically configured by Plan Managers, PMO leads, or administrators and are considered an advanced feature.
